Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Kristy and I live in Utah. I am an optimist who believes in hard work and chasing dreams (some times literally running those dreams down). 

I started running marathons after the birth of my 2nd child. I quickly fell in love with the challenges and gratitude I experienced during my trainings and races. While living in New York City in 2012, I started dreaming of running the New York City Marathon, even though I'd yet to run my first marathon. This November, over 10 years and 5 marathons later, I have the opportunity to run the dream! 

I am so grateful to be able to run the New York City Marathon with team Keep A Child Alive (KCA). KCA is a global organization founded by Alicia Keys (yes that Alicia Keys) that helps children and their families who are suffering from HIV/AIDS in parts of Africa and Asia. By joining KCA, I am able to gain entry to the New York City Marathon and put more meaning behind my many miles as I work to raise $4,000 for KCA this year!
