Hey friends and supporters,
If you know me, you know I'm always up for a challenge. This time, I've decided to take on something big: running the NYC Marathon in under 4 hours (in 2023, the average time for women in the NYC Marathon was 4:56:12), all to raise funds for kids in need.
It's hard to ignore the fact that millions of children worldwide are facing extreme poverty, especially with the challenges brought by COVID-19. These kids lack basic necessities like food, shelter, and education, and it's something I can't turn a blind eye to.
That's why I'm teaming up with KCA as a charity runner. KCA does incredible work, supporting 150,000 children and young people in Africa and Asia to build brighter futures, break out of poverty cycles, and access education and essential resources.
I'm diving headfirst into this marathon, committed to intense training and pushing myself to beat a good time. The more funds I receive, the more training I'll put into it, aiming to lower my time significantly.
But I can't do it alone. I need your support to reach my fundraising goal and make a difference in these kids' lives.
